Pallia is a small town in district Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh near the Indo-Nepal border. Pallia Transport Company started in early 1960s as a transport operator providing logistics support to farmers for Transporting Agricultural Products. The company also started a Passenger Bus Service to support the local rural population in Pallia.
In 1983, when Maruti Udyog Limited started car manufacturing in Gurgaon, it gave the group the opportunity as one of its earliest logistics partners. Under the vision of Shri Goverdhan Lal Nanda, Pallia pioneered organized Car-Carrier Operations in India. After his passing in 1998, Mr. Vipul Nanda took charge and accelerated the company’s transformation into a nationwide powerhouse.
- A defining chapter came in 2008, when Pallia joined hands with Italy’s Gruppo Mercurio SpA to form Mercurio Pallia Logistics Private Limited. — India’s first International Joint Venture in Trucking Business. The partnership later became part of the GEFCO Group(Owned by PSA Peugeot-Citroën now part of Stellantis), as Gefco Group acquired majority stake in Gruppo Mercurio SpA , further expanding Pallia’s global footprint. In 2019, Pallia regained full ownership and renamed the company to Pallia Trans Logistics Private Limited, carrying forward over six decades of trust and excellence.
- Today, Pallia Trans Logistics is among India’s leading Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) providers, offering end-to-end outbound logistics solutions — from vehicle movement and yard management to COT (Chassis-on-Truck) operations. Our state-of-the-art stockyards across India handle pre-delivery inspection, vehicle storage, and dispatch with precision and care.
